The Capri Interior Renderings

Over the past years, I have created 100's of exterior architectural renderings and this year alone, I am closing in on that number with my interior architectural renderings. Like my exterior renderings, interior renderings take a special skill and attention to detail. Technically, interiors are a pain to render, especially since most American homes have small window openings.  Getting all the natural light into the small opening is a computer nightmare. I compensate with artificial light, but the natural light looks so much nicer and with the right HDRI, the colors are nice a subtle.

Goodbye Uncanny Valley

It’s 2017 and computer graphics have conquered the Uncanny Valley, that strange place where things are almost real... but not quite. After decades of innovation, we’re at the point where we can conjure just about anything with software. The battle for photoreal CGI has been won, so the question is... what happens now?
