ARCX Light Fixture Product Renderings

If you have followed me for any amount of time you know that I do mainly architectural renderings. Actually, I have been creating architectural renderings for about 25 years, however, I do occasionally wander outside of my wheelhouse and do other things. Here, I was asked to illustrate some really cool lighting fixtures called ARCX lights. These product renderings will be used in brochures to market their product. They are really a cool idea. The lights come in sections and can be assempled in almost any configuration that you can imagine.

Bear Park House Renderings

What a great project from a great Canadian client. These renderings, like all of my renderings, is an exercise in patience.  Although my workflow doesn't change, each project seems to have its own personality. Some are easy going and some are very temperamental; this one was easy going. From displacement to high-quality bushes and trees, too high-quality cars, depth of field, and environmental fog.  Even though the architectural rendering has all the bells and whistles, the scene was stable and rendered relatively quickly.

Home2 - Joplin Mo Rendering

During the early 90's I worked as an illustrator for a hotel/motel design/build architectural firm. This, Home2 rendering, is for Joplin, Mo where I traveled for my early 90's position.  It was a pleasure to render this building and it brough back some good memories.

Kellogg Retreat Rendering

The stars were aligned for this architectural rendering. Although I added a lot of information, rendering times were great; at 4K these stills rendered out in 1/2 per still.
